Hi my friend,

I’m Giovanni from Genoa, Italy.

I’ve built this site because I decided to cut my kit collection down. You’ll find here a number of collectible, discontinued plastic kits and others of more recent production, coming from my own collection and from those of a few friends of mines together with which I started collecting, many years ago.

You’ll find romantic reminds of those delicious, dusty carton boxes, a litle crushed may be, or decoloured after a too long stay in a sunny showcase; still basement or smoke smelling, if the seller was a smoker. And those unforgottable bags, which bring my mind back to the Beatles vynils, to the age of my secondary school, of my Fiat 500 and of my very first girlfriend….

If you find something you are interested in or you want to make swaps, please drop a line to vintagekit@libero.it . Also, do not hesitate e-mailing me if you have your own kits to trade: it will be a pleasure for me to show your list here for free.

Please take on your mind that this is a one-man-hobby, not a job, and I’ve very little free time: so please excuse me should I could answer with a little delay.

Well, I thank you for your visit and wish you fine surfing.

Herebelow some meanings of the terms you’ll see when surfing the site:
